the power of suggestion (only works when physically heard); anything she suggests to someone will be carried out if she wills it to be. Usually small things, and they may be aware it's something they don't want to do and consciously struggle against her suggestions. If she puts enough force into her words, however, she would possibly be able to subdue someone, although she'd feel faint herself afterwards.

H I S T O R Y ;

Ariela Sophia Belini was born to Monica Belini when Monica was only seventeen years of age. She was raised by her grandparents, her father having abandoned Monica long before she even knew she was pregnant. Monica tried for a short time to continue her schooling with the support of her parents watching over Ariela, but she only made it to Ariela's first birthday before dropping out, and going to work instead to help support her child and herself, because her father couldn't on his own.

They struggled, but Ariela wasn't unhappy. She had her grandmother with her day and night, her mother, and her grandfather, and despite that some days it seemed like they were barely scraping by, they survived.

Ariela also grew up alongside their neighbor's son, the boy was a year younger than her, and she took it upon herself to look after him. His name was Murillo, but when Ariela was younger she had a bit of trouble with words, and mistakenly called him 'Maria'

To this day, she still refers to him as Maria.

Ariela is still working through her education, and although she has offered to drop out and help her mother and her grandfather (who still works, despite getting on in years), they both refused her, insisting her education was important, that it was important that one person in the family finish their education. That she could pay them back by becoming a famous doctor one day.

So, Ariela doesn't complain about it much, and tries to do her best, although she's only a B average student. Her grandmother has also taken to watching Ariela's social interactions like a hawk, because she is now the same age her mother was when she became pregnant.

P E R S O N A L I T Y ;

Ariela is a bright girl. She's light in her nature, and bubbly, and well-adjusted. She likes to tease Murillo, and she likes listening to her friends and family talk. She's a spirited young woman, and engages herself in the people surrounding her, which would make her popular if she didn't insist on hanging out with Murillo all the time. As it is, he scares off a lot of the people who she would normally fall in with, and she cares for him deeply enough that she isn't willing to abandon him for other friends.

She isn't without her shortcomings, and she gets frustrated easily. She doesn't often show it when she's around other people, but she's prone to feelings of abandonment, dismay, and annoyance at something she isn't capable of doing well, or at people who have the tendency to get in the way when she's trying to get something done.
